Sharon Bayliss is the author of The December People Series and The Charge. When she’s not writing, she enjoys living happily-ever-after with her husband and two young sons. She can be found eating Tex-Mex on patios, wearing flip-flops, and playing in the mud (which she calls gardening). She only practices magic in emergencies.

It starts with a phone call that David Vandergraff both yearns for and at the same time does not want to happen. And then it finally happens the phone call that he has been waiting for, the one that is going to shatter not only his life but also the lives of his wife and three children. His two missing children have finally been found. Twelve years ago he cheated on his wife and had an affair with a woman named Crystal Carr. Crystal is pregnant with their second child when she and their firstborn suddenly disappears without a trace.
What follows is a story of love and redemption with some pretty interesting paranormal aspects thrown in for good measure. I normally have zero patience for men who cheat but I could not help myself for cheering the guy on, I wanted David to succeed so badly at reuniting his family and integrating his two children into his family and not become divorced from his wife.
I believe the author has a very large talent for creating her characters into people you just can’t help but love. I also love the cover art for Destruction, book one of the December People by Sharon Bayliss.
